Welcome to my blog, Mustard Seed Reads! I am so glad you’re here! My name is Autumn, and I am excited to begin this new blogging adventure! My hope is to share a little bit of me with all of you – my faith, my family and friends, my poodle Finn, all things Library, gluten free tidbits, and more!
Why Mustard Seed?
My relationship with Christ is the most important thing in my life. One of my favorite scriptures is Matthew 17:20 – “… if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” As I was contemplating starting a blog, I kept making excuses – lack of time, extra money, and knowledge, just to name a few. But, God laid it on my heart to step out in FAITH and move mountains. So here I am, ready to share my heart and His love with the world!
Why Reads?
I am an Elementary Librarian, and I absolutely LOVE my job! Reading has always been a passion of mine. I have the best memories of my mom reading to me every night as a little girl, and when I was in elementary school, I would often volunteer to help the Librarian, Ms. Walker. Both of these women instilled a true love of literacy into my heart that has impacted my life in a huge way!
